I just wanted to Thank you for the opportunity to raise money for our charities at IT.
I presented our First $1,000 scholarship last week to Ethan Pinault. I also presented the checks, but more importantly the Concept/Spirit of IT to the Youth Group. I told them that the youth and all of the good things they have done inspired me to come up with nutty ideas and items to bring to the auction and turn that inspiration into donations which in turn allow them to go out in the community and do more good deeds. They leave on their mission trip on July18th.
By the way, did I tell you that I found out that one of the new kids in the youth group has Cystic Fibrosis? I gave her one of my Tie dye shirts - the same one that fetched $5,000 at the auction. I've never seen the youth group so quiet!
All this is possible because of the blessings we have and a guy who was willing to make change and create a trade show named IT. God bless

In 2004 the "IT" Show was in Chicago at A- Reliable Auto Parts and I was fortunate to be the liaison for the three states that were involved. Our association benefited greatly from such an experience. The Upper Midwest Association has since held our own annual conventions in a format similar to the successful "IT" Event. Everyone likes the casual, hands-on style of the event. I hope that "IT" comes back to Midwest

Tire Service Equipment has been attending the "IT" show for several years and although some years have been better than others I would have to say without a doubt that "IT" is the best auto recycling show we attend all year. We usually sell tire cutters and wheel crushers while we're at the show but we get additional sales throughout the year from people who have attended the show. In addition, the contact with other vendors and the sharing of ideas is a way we can learn and make our business even better. And last but not least is the cost to participate in the show.
